TIME27 Val Thorens is the flagship European edition of TIME, designed in Australia for clinicians and health professionals who want high-yield clinical education, practical skill development, and clear thinking on innovation, delivered in a format that protects time on the mountain.

Set in Val Thorens (2,300 m), Europe’s highest ski resort, TIME27 combines a high-density educational programme with one of the world’s largest and most snow-reliable ski areas.

The TIME programme

TIME27 Val Thorens follows the established TIME format and will run in parallel with TIME27 Myoko Kogen.

The programme is designed for clinicians working in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Anaesthesia, Acute and General Medicine, Retrieval, and for Nursing, Paramedicine, allied health, plus professionals working in digital health and clinical innovation.

Sessions are structured to preserve meaningful time on the mountain while maintaining a high-density educational programme.

Val Thorens sits at 2,300 metres, giving reliable late-season conditions and direct access to Les 3 Vallées, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world.

CME accreditation

ACEM CME accreditation is pending. TIME conferences are routinely accredited across ACEM domains, and TIME27 Val Thorens is expected to receive comparable accreditation. Formal confirmation will be published once approval is finalised.

Getting there

Val Thorens is accessible via several major airports and a straightforward final transfer to resort.

By air
Nearest airports include Geneva (GVA), Lyon (LYS), Chambéry (CMF), and Grenoble (GNB).

By train
The closest major station is Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains, with TGV services from Paris and other European cities. From Moûtiers, the transfer to Val Thorens is approximately 1 hour by bus or taxi.

By road
Private transfers, taxis, and shuttles operate from airports and stations. Val Thorens is a car-free resort, with designated parking at the resort entrance and onward shuttle services.
